Forgiveness

Kelsey Witte Photographer

FORGIVENESS does not mean ACCEPTANCE

We are called to Forgive one another by our Faith in a loving God and His Word.
This does not mean we have to accept someone's choices, wicked words and hurtful ways.
It just means "we" must experience a change of heart ourselves.

Something happens inside of our minds and souls when we Forgive others.
It frees us...the chain of negativity is broken.

WE then find Peace in the "Garden of our Soul"

It is well in the garden of my soul
It is well in the garden of my soul
The Lord knows my heart and all is well
In the garden of my soul

Forgive others … as God forgives you.

  1. Hello Annie. I am a Pastor from Mumbai, India. I am glad to stop by your profile on the blogger and the blog post. I am also blessed and feel privileged and honoured to get connected with you as well as know you and you and your family's life in the Lord. Your post is so powerful and illustrative on the topic of forgiveness. I would like to make use of it when I will preach on Forgiveness once again. Over the years I did preach on forgiveness many times but your illustration is powerful. I love getting connected with the people of God around the globe to be encouraged, strengthened and praying for one another. I have been in the Pastoral ministry for last 39 yrs in this great city of Mumbai a city with a great contrast where richest of rich and the poorest of poor live. We REACH out to the poorest of poor with the love of Christ to bring healing to the brokenhearted. We also encourage young and the adults from the west to come to Mumbai to work with us during their vacation time. Going through your earlier blog posts I came to know that you have a small child and it would be difficult for you and your husband to travel with a small child but I would deeply appreciate you if you could share about this opportunity with your siblings and friends and encourage them to go on a missions trip to Mumbai. I am sure they will have a life changing experience. My email id is: dhwankhede(at)gmail(dot)com and my name is Diwakar Wankhede. God's richest blessings on you, your family and friends. Looking forward to hear from you very soon.
